Asian cinema is so fucking overrated. The movies goes on and fucking on for almost 3 hours without any plot but instead turns into a quirky retarded goofy anime randomly I fucking hate it. Oldboy is a good example with the anime retardation mostly the fight scene mid way in and the revenge plot itself is fucking retarded and course involves Incestual perversion. Guess thats what you get for having a culture where you have to hold your dick in and get no pussy lol lol lol ching chong ching chong
You’re a fucking jerk off Tamir. How would you like a knuckle sandwich for lunch you little asshole?
haha fuck you tamir
Nah actually I changed my mind sharing it because you’re a big meanie
Hey admin I have made a poem just for you
Ha ha Meow you fucking jerkoff. Extended vacation for you you little asshole. HA HA!!!!!!!!
@Meow: You’re going to have to learn to STFU for 48 hours. If you can’t do that, it keeps getting extended.
@Tamir: Looks like I’m gonna have to ring your PO.
The ending is the worst part. It’s too literal. Too easy. Even the manga’s ending was better.
To seem artistic you just need to have painfully slow-paced 30 minutes of a random depressed asian persons life for a movie and then add in some random colourful shit or gore at the last 20 minutes. Then you will be loved by every cringey idiot. These movies have zero fucking creativity. I hate British horror but at least theirs are actually creative even though they’re shit. Asian horror is shit without creativity.
It’s true that a lot of Asian cinema is garbage like “Oldboy” (2003), “Memories of Murder” (2003), “Tumbling Doll Of Flesh” (1998) and “Bad Guy” (2001) but there are some really great Asian films also.
About halfway down on page 2 of the “Lists” section you will see a post entitled “OMH Favorite Top 100 on EUM.”
In that post you will see all of my lists, which include:
“Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 100 Favorite Films on EUM”
“Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 25 Favorite Mainstream/Hollywood/Blockbuster Films on EUM”
“Old Mother Hubbard’s 25 Picks for WORST Films on EUM”
“Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 10 Favorite Asian Films on EUM”
Obviously you will get a detailed and comprehensive view and a thorough, all-encompassing perspective of which movies I found to be the most (or least) enjoyable to watch. If you have any further questions about any movies on EUM I’ve seen every single one of them all the way through. Over 50% of them I have seen more than once. My “Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 10 Favorite Asian Films on EUM” has received rave reviews.
I hope this was helpful.
Have a great day!
say what you want but its irrefutable that a lot of western cinema takes inspiration fron asian cinema
