Between the ages of 19-22, I experienced several weird things that in hindsight I luckily never talked about to anyone or I’d have been pushed into therapy or put on meds. The strangest was when I once made myself lunch, ate it and next thing I know I’m near a canal sitting on a rock. I had completely lost time of the journey to get there which was around 20 miles. It didn’t scare me for some lucky reason and I brushed it off. I had a few more like this but not so big in terms of distance. I also ‘saw’scenes that weren’t really happening when I was in busy places few times. Once again, for none of these did I get scared or obsess over what might be happening with me. And they just went away. It’s been years since. I guess my point is that my experience has been that mental issues are a lot of the time things you indulge and if you don’t pay them much attention they can be sent away. Ofc there are actual biological problems that cause issues but I’m more talking about casual shit that ends up being turned into disorders by doctors or therapy by giving it importance.
