Does anyone else find that horror movies are starting to have little to no effect on them? Sinister was supposed to be “scientifically proven to be the scariest horror movie” but it didnt really do anything to me, i jumped at one jumpscare and that was it. I suspect it’s because people exaggerate how scary and fucked up some movies are, with salo or 120 days of sodom i was just like “oh my god that’s fucked up” for some parts of the movie but i forgot about it the next day, i have nothing to say about cannibal holocaust because i couldnt find it with atleast ok quality anywhere. Was there a movie that was able to envoke some emotions in you if you also feel like this?
Antichrist spooked me. So did A Clockwork Orange.
