Ever since OMH declared that he was going to watch every movie on EUM and make his historic “Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 100 Favorite Films on EUM” list, the haters came out in droves (Honestly there are about 3 or 4 people writing in the comments sections on EUM using multiple aliases). Just the thought of OMH watching every movie on EUM sent shivers down the spines of the haters. Do you want to know why? The answer is simple. Since OMH has watched every film on EUM (over 50% of them more than once) he has become the film authority of EUM. His legendary “Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 100 Favorite Films on EUM” list set a bar so high that no other list can even compare.

There you have it in a nut shell. The haters knew before OMH even made his lists that they would never be able to compete at such a high level. OMH set the bar so high that it is literally unobtainable to write a better list than all of the aforementioned lists.

I don’t think it was OMH’s initial intention to make reviews and lists to set off the haters and rub it in their faces how inadequate and inept they are when it comes to writing lists and reviews. I believe his initial motivation for writing these superb lists and reviews was to be helpful to newcomers who may have been overwhelmed looking through over 1,100 films for a great film to watch. OMH initially made the lists as a sort of guide of where to start if you were new to this site. Others on EUM, who thought they had the moxie to be top dog, were humiliated that they were outshined by OMH’s stunning and incredible movies reviews and movie lists, so much so that they just gave up making their own movies reviews and movie lists and decided to attack OMH who elevated EUM beyond the 98% of bullshit written on the “Creative Writing” page, which is also known by some as the “Retard Page.”

Look, it all boils down to this. If you want to read about movies and read quality reviews and lists it’s simple. Go to the “Old Mother Hubbard” tag and you will find loads of quality material to read. If you want to read dogshit garbage written by people who couldn’t pass a 3rd grade English exam read the other 98% of mindless bullshit on here, like “My 10 favorite drinks” or “Are Snicker bars better than Milky Way bars?”

You just think about that for a while today while you remember who is the best and why.
