Is it weird to keep your own blood? I have a little tube of mine. So like back in 2022, I randomly got sick and it was like I couldn’t breathe. So I go to the hospital and I get some work done. One of the test I get done is a blood test. So the woman there starting drawing blood from my arm but then, she said something went wrong. So then she decided to aske if I wanted to keep the blood sample and I said sure because one, I thought it could be important and two I think it’s neat to keep a tube of your own blood. I placed it somewhere safe and I look back at it and think “hmm I wonder if other people keep their own blood somewhere? ” So if anyone does have your own blood, I would like to know the story behind why you have it!

I had a lot of nosebleeds as a kid so most of my favourite stuff from then has bloodstains. The more I used something the more likely it was for me to have bled on it. Eventually I took it to mean that I was extra-bonded with the item, as I could visually see how much time I’d spent with it compared to other stuff.
Blood is only viable for 30 days so pointless to keep other than a memento.
Without going into much detail I knew of someone who walked around with a bag full of condoms of his own spunk so in real terms a tube full of your own blood is rather normal.
