New Fears

When I was a child, I remember having several fears.

Fear of being kidnapped (because of the news).

Fear of social pressure (being an obese child).

Fear of things that might appear in the dark.

Fear of spiders or scorpions (or insects of that kind).

Now my fears are not being able to pay off a credit card,
not being able to make a tax payment,

as I grew up I started to lose those fears.

But I never really lost them; they just changed names.
