Hey everyone! Im a big music lover, but I mostly listen to nu-metal, rock, alternative, and just chill music. Any recommendations? (Except for Linkin Park, Green Day, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Nirvana, Toy-Box, Everything but the Girl, Pantera, SOAD, Metallica)
Similar to Coles suggestion but you could also visit one of those Ai music making sites. You create a tune you like and then the Ai will find similar creations as suggestions. Its a long way from being brilliant but I managed to create five albums of my own stuff. I was being more conceptual in my creations but was a fun pasttime for a while.
I used Suno but I am sure all of them have there good/bad points.

I was just listening to Vulgar Display of Power, which honestly I still think’s one of the great ’90s albums.
Truthfully, the easiest way to branch out is just grab Spotify, throw on Nirvana or whoever you already like, then close the app and come back later to poke around the recommendations it feeds you. Then just keep repeatin the process with different bands you discover along the way. Your music genres listed are varied so it’s kinda hard to nail you down any particular ones.

omg hi, fucking epic music taste!!! For chill music, I really like Massive Attack (I’m obsessed with their album Mezzanine) and Air. You might like Poppy’s albums Flux and Negative Spaces and her EP stagger? If you’re open to a more punk/electronic sound, you could try Mindless Self Indulgence or Machine Girl. They’re both very experimental. Also Jack Off Jill is good, but the singer’s voice isn’t for everyone. Happy listening!
Gorillaz. When I was in middle school, I was HOOKED on their music. I don’t listen to them as much as I did during those days though. My favorite album from them was demon days but they have other good ones too. And then I couldn’t decide on my favorite song by them was. It was 5/4 or DARE. Also good music taste.

Just to cheer you up after that:

Watch “Rollins Band: Sessions @ West 54th” on You Tube. The whole band is really good but the drummer is just insanely good. Henry Rollins is the man.
