Here is a workout that improves not only your health but ALSO your brain.
Walking at night. It is seriously so awesome. I REALLY recommend getting someone to do this with you, thankfully someone I know grew up doing this so they’re very happy to go on these walks with me.
BUT my favourite part about these walks is that they activate my natural instincts. Me and this person often go into dark areas, and sometimes more “dangerous” spots (I’m always up for these spots, my friend is the one that’s scared). You might think I’m stupid for this, but doing this actually improves your hearing skills and overall primal instincts.
And tonight we went to one of those “dangerous” spots. Unfortunately, this person was talking really loud for some reason. But my primal instincts helped me hear the subtle talking up ahead – and what do you know – we see someone dressed in a white hoodie. My friend immediately runs away, so I also have to do the same. Then, as we’re heading back, we see someone on a bike so we hide – just like our ancestors would’ve done when hunting. Then after that, we hear rustling in the bushes and I swear I almost have a heart attack. We run away, AGAIN, REALLY activating our primal instincts.
But here’s the issue. I kinda screwed up, because before this walk, I had drunk a lot of warm water and milk, so I was at the risk of a stitch. And you know what – I got a stitch SO bad I was genuinely close to puking because of the pain. But you know what – I pushed through. Because pain didn’t stop our ancestors. So me and my friend (my friend is a little more paranoid than me on these walks) hid again (their idea).
It was really painful. But I didn’t cry, because my instincts were telling me to be tough. So then we head back.
And I’ve been doing these types of walks for maybe 8-9 years or so, almost every single day. I have also studied the effects of these types of workouts/walks and done tons of true research, and I can proudly say that they are great for you.
These walks improve your eyesight in the dark, your hearing, your smell, your reaction time, etcetara.
I’ve only done this type of walks alone about once or twice. I think it’s rather obvious why you shouldn’t do it alone. But if you’re bold and strong enough, go ahead. I am also a faster runner than my friend. I’ve only been chased once in my life so I don’t know if I’m faster than most people. I love these workouts because they actually improve everything about you.
And these walks may be dangerous in some people’s eyes – but that’s what makes them improve your natural instincts.
Also I bring my cat on these cats because he’s kinda weird and follows me everywhere.
It’s not a bad way of having fun . But if I were u I d find these “dangerous people ” an opportunity for more fun lmao . And the cat part was unnecessary lol.
Tho u need to invest more time into thinking of a better title from my pov.
You bring your cat on these cats?
Calm down spaz.
