The Slob and Son of the Slob are both by Aron Beauregard they are both pretty graphic with the gore but for me personally the writing wasn’t the best but it was entertaining to read. Stab the Rabbit by Shane McKenzie from what i heard it’s good even tho i haven’t personally read it…

Bunny lake is Missing, 1957 is worth a read and has a different ending to the film.
American Psycho, 1991 is a lot more graphic than the film.
Tender is the flesh, 2017 (2020) is a bit moralistic but a neat idea. I was not very happy with how it ended but I got why.
The Cement Garden, 1978.
Under the Skin, 2000 goes further into the detail than the film.
Looking for Mr Goodbar, 1975 is an oddity because you know whats going to happen at the end.
The ones I would not recomend are The Wasp Factory and The Painted Bird.
