Is anyone else get a little tired of Ryan Reynolds’ lame ass schtick? Specifically, his Mint Mobile television commercials. He’s always “looking for fun new ways” to tell us about Mint Mobile. Well, he really shouldn’t and needs to fucking stop because he’s not funny –at all. Just tell us about your phone service, for fuck’s sake.
One commercial in particular is especially annoying to me. It’s the one where he says he “thought it might be fun” to have $15 dollar bills printed to promote his premium $15 dollar phone plan. What?! No, you didn’t! You thought you’d feed us another bullshit gimmick! And he closes the ad by realizing that “that’s very illegal.” No, in fact, it’s only illegal if you copy official Federal Reserve notes. He can print as many douche bag $15 dollar bills that he wants. Besides, poll the idiot demographic and I guarantee the majority, if not all, will know that counterfeiting money is illegal. That’s not really one of those crimes you can genuinely claim ignorance on. So, his comedy has no logic. It’s just such stupid bullshit. And of course the ‘bills’ have his stupid face on the front and the back of his head on the reverse side. What a narcissistic douche!
I’ve hated him since Dead Pool. Ugh!
And by the way, has he came out as being gay yet? Because, if he’s not gay, then he damn well should be. Just sayin’.
I think what annoys me most is that he thinks he’s being clever AND he’s smug about it. It just makes me wanna strike him with a pipe wrench then call his mom to tell her that her stupid son needs medical assistance. What? I can’t just leave him lying there. I’m not a psycho. Hah!
Not quite the feedback I was expecting or rather, hoping for. Yeah, it’s received 5 votes with an overall 2 rating. That’s nice. Thanks for those, I guess. But that doesn’t concern me. I was hoping for more of a discussion, not a comment soliciting for yet another anti-Meow thread. Come on, man. Aren’t there enough of those already? Just look to the upper right at the Top Rated then take your pick. And those are just what you folks have deemed ‘the best’, so I’m sure there are more.
If that’s what y’all want to do then go on. Piss off with it.
You know, I’ve been lurking around this site for a while now. At least a couple of years, actually. The anti-Meow sentiment is nothing new and frankly, it’s getting stale, to be quite honest. It used to be all about Steve but that seems to be staving off, as I suppose the Meow hate posts will too eventually.
Look, I’m not saying you can’t hate him/her. Do that all you like. I can’t/won’t stop you. But maybe put aside or even redirect that hatred onto something else for a moment? There’s always something to hate in this day and age. Or someone… like Ryan Reynolds, for example.
Speaking of whom, some of y’all remind of him. Getting a lil sick of the schtick. Just sayin’.
