Animal Cruelty In Movies

Author: Cronenberg

What’s your opinion when it comes to real cruelty against animals in movies?
Personally I find it hard to accept.

Italian cannibal flicks from the 70’s have a lot of it and I often get upset as hell when I see it.

There’s a korean film named “The isle” from 2000 that I haven’t seen but I’ve heard that it’s extremely brutal.
That’s fine for me.
But it also contains a lot of different torture/violence against animals.
That makes me unsure if I wanna see it.

It’s hard for me to watch even if its animated I’m jumping back in my seat the whole time while watching it. I dont mind human gore though (real or fake).

I don’t mind fictional animal cruelty, but when its real animals being hurt for movie then that’s where i draw the line. its very disgusting. no life should be treated like that.

I really truly hope only the worst for animal abusers. I truly hope they all burn alive slowly for eternity. I do.

real animal cruelty is just bad taste and tacky as fuck imo glad it doesnt happen that often anymore. an animal shouldn’t be actually hurt in the name of “artistry”. as much as i love john walters the chicken scenes in pink flamingo got my knickers in a twist
