At 13 I pierced my earlobes with some super shitty cheap piercer thing. I did fuck all for making sure the product and my earlobes were actually prepared. It took about 10-20 WHOLE ASS tries because I wanted to get the RIGHT spot in my earlobes. It was honestly super painful. Anyways, after it did it in the right spot, I was happy. Finally had my ears pierced. A few days or weeks later… I almost got …sepsis. It was swelling and hurt soooo bad. Oh god it was just horrid. Then one time… I was in the bathroom leaning over the sink… and a bunch of disgusting fucking green pus comes out of my infected earlobes. I googled it obviously and it told me SEPSIS. Well I knew I had to do something. My earrings were basically SINKING into my ear. But just wait. My mum had an ever worse or Idk, should I say better… idea. She basically forces me to let her fucking RIP the earrings out of my sepsis-infected earlobes. THE BLOOD and oh the PAIN. Just aughh ew. God it was painful. Honestly I actually cried because it was so painful. But it actually turned out okay. So I survived sepsis.
Anyway was gonna do more but too busy so basically I think I almost died 2-4 times when I was 13.

I dont think thats how sepsis works it sounds like you just had an infection. still a close call tho bc i knew someone who had to have surgery bc their earrings sank in their ears
