I am not particularly a fan of the term dark-web. Makes it sound like its hard to enter when in reality you are just one web-page address away from it. Anyone can visit and you don`t need a tor browser unless you really want to spend time with spooks reading BBC news.
Admin has already said he frequented the chans and has been moderating for some time. That suggest he knows enough about human behaviour to guess many an alt purely by how it is written.
As for 8 there was a lovely time at the beginning of P2P sites where everything was available and ll you had to do was give as much as you take and keep your ratios healthy. I expect many of the good films came from that era and were stored on hard drives. Even before P2P the availablity of VHS copies of films was a big thing in my youth. My local video centre rarely handed you anything but a bootleg with a black&white photocopy of the orignial cover. My own personal collection of dubious films at the begining just had a handwritten scrawl on the side sticker to say what it was.
