Most people seem to use Social Media (TikTok, Instagram, etc) as their source of information and updates on what’s happening in the world. I admit I sometimes get my info from TikTok but I always actually do my own research whilst these people genuinely just believe everything they see on fucking TIKTOK. You’d think maybe they’re all just 12 years old, but no. The amount of dumbass adults I see nowadays is insane.
People call those who say “Nothing Ever Happens” privileged and ignorant but are those people even wrong? We hear about the rich eating babies and raping people and what does everyone do? Like a few videos with Little Dark Age playing in the background as some random trend hopper says “Fuck the system” or some shit like that. Anyways I’ll be honest I didn’t even read the files. Because what can I, one singular average person even do about it all. To do anything, we’d all have to come together but everyone’s too busy commenting on rage bait reels or talking about the football.
