I Fucking Hate Music

Tl;dr: Being in a psych ward and having a shitty taste in music sucks.

OK so kind what the fuck is up with Gnaw Their Tongues and all the music they shat out?

Black metal/noise/experimental/whatever. Worth listening to. Once. Loses the disturbing factor very, very quickly.

Just put on a few songs from All the Dread Magnificence of Perversity and you never have to listen to GTT ever again, or don’t. You’ll miss out on some weird, fucked-up headache tho.

Raw Black Metal just sucks, mostly.

At least I have that one album by Ossadogva that I keep listening to on repeat, ‘Born From a Tomb’, but that’s more like DSBM I think?

Love me some blues every once in a while, but I hate myself too much to allow my ears to listen to much good music these days.

My roommate in the psych ward annoys the shit out of me, thanks Dr. M. for the maximum of 7.5mg Lorazepam a day (PRN), I wouldn’t make it without them benzos.

Some old guy keeps talking to me even when I have my headphones on, nod and smile.

I like Mortician. Their album from 1999 is really neat. Also the album Norman (2024) by Mortuary Ghoul, another slam death metal band that is very much inspired by Mortician… yeah, it slams. Love the song Stab. The parts where the instrumentals of Psycho from the shower stabbing scene and the band start playing in the same rhythm? *chef’s kiss* Guess music is not all that bad.

But what in rancid vomit is Leichenlinie by Genocide Organ? That album is horrible. And I keep listening to it. And for some reason they’re a controversive band because they don’t state their political stances?

I don’t think industrial black noise ambient whatever bullshit attracts many neo-nazis. If I were a neo-nazi I would be listening to Varg Virkerne’s solo music. Or Wagner.

Gotta give it to him, the first Burzum album that he made in jail was pretty great, or at least I remember enjoying it almost 10 years ago. But Varg himself? Weirdo.

Alright, now that I’ve watched 3 Death Files parts in a row and just wrote this shit down no one fucking cares about after being awake all night just because, I think I’ll go look for some more shitty music. Or look if the demented turkish granny is awake already.
