The Collapse Is Upon Us

Guys and girls, the collapse of industrial civilization is upon us. It is also inevitable so don’t get too upset about it; there is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent it.

Many people will die, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I don’t relish the fact that they will die, nor do I wish them harm in any particular manner, that’s just how the cards are going to fall. A lot of them are suffering right now. What comes next will probably be better in many respects. There won’t be as many distractions and illusions after the fall.

So it’s a good thing we have this place to vent and cope and forget about the world for an hour or two at a time. Enjoy this Internet sanctuary while it lasts and maybe make a few contingent plans for when it no longer exists.
